Orange-cranberry Lamb Chops

Ingredients

- 6 center-cut lamb chops, each about 1/2 inch thick
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- pepper
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 (11 ounce) can mandarin oranges, drained
- 1/3 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/3 cup chicken broth
Recipe
- 1 sprinkle the chops lightly with salt and pepper.
- 2 heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- 3 add chops and brown on both sides, in batches if necessary.
- 4 top with oranges and cranberries.
- 5 sprinkle with cloves and add broth.
- 6 reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 15 minutes or until juices run clear when meat is pierced.
