Ingredients

- 1 cup applesauce
- 2 teaspoons fresh sage, finely chopped
- pepper
- 8 lamb schnitzels, uncrumbed
- 2 cups dry breadcrumbs
- oil, to shallow fry
Recipe
- 1 combine applesauce, sage and pepper.
- 2 coat schnitzel with applesauce mixture.
- 3 cover both sides with breadcrumbs. regrigerate for 30 minutes (optional).
- 4 shallow fry in hot oil for approximately 2 or 3 minutes each side until golden.
