Lamb & Apple Schnitzel

Total Time: 16 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 6 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 cup applesauce
  • 2 teaspoons fresh sage, finely chopped
  • pepper
  • 8 lamb schnitzels, uncrumbed
  • 2 cups dry breadcrumbs
  • oil, to shallow fry

Recipe

  • 1 combine applesauce, sage and pepper.
  • 2 coat schnitzel with applesauce mixture.
  • 3 cover both sides with breadcrumbs. regrigerate for 30 minutes (optional).
  • 4 shallow fry in hot oil for approximately 2 or 3 minutes each side until golden.
