Simple Goulash With Sauerkraut

Ingredients

- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fat
- 1 lb lean lamb shoulder, cut in 1 inch cubes
- 1 teaspoon hungarian paprika
- 1 cup water
- 1 (28 1/2 ounce) jar sauerkraut
- 1/2 cup sour cream
Recipe
- 1 cook onions in fat until slightly brown.
- 2 add meat, paprika and water.
- 3 simmer until almost tender.
- 4 rinse kraut in water and squeeze out water lightly; add to meat.
- 5 cook 30 minutes or until meat is done.
- 6 add sour cream and heat, but do not boil.
