Lamb Parmesan With Pasta

Ingredients

- 1 1/2 lbs boneless lamb loin, cut in bite sized pieces
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk
- 1 3/4 cups dry breadcrumbs
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoons seasoning salt
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 12 ounces uncooked spaghetti
- 1 (32 ounce) jar plain spaghetti sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded parmesan cheese (or same amount of any other cheese)
Recipe
- 1 in a shallow dish beat egg with milk.
- 2 set aside.
- 3 in a one quart zip-lock bag add bread crumbs.
- 4 add lamb a few pieces at a time coating well.
- 5 repeat above steps until all lamb is coated.
- 6 add coated lamb pieces a few at a time into egg/milk wash.
- 7 repeat above step until all pieces are coated with egg wash.
- 8 coat lamb in bread crumbs again.
- 9 in a medium-sized skillet, over medium heat, add oil.
- 10 while oil is heating, cook pasta according to directions on package.
- 11 cook for 10 minutes or until desired tenderness.
- 12 drain.
- 13 in a small bowl, combine all seasonings and spices.
- 14 add lamb to skillet.
- 15 sprinkle seasoning over lamb.
- 16 stirring lightly to coat all sides of lamb, cook lamb until no longer pink and lightly browned.
- 17 if needed drain excess oil.
- 18 add spaghetti sauce to lamb in skillet.
- 19 pour pasta into lightly buttered 13x9-inch dish.
- 20 pour lamb and sauce mixture over pasta.
- 21 sprinkle with cheese.
- 22 bake at 350°f for 20 minutes or until cheese is lightly browned.
- 23 remove and let sit for 5 minutes.
