Potato, Green Bean And Bacon Chowder

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 8 slices bacon, cut up
  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cups cubed potatoes
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 1 cup frozen green beans, thawed
  • 1/8-1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Recipe

  • 1 fry bacon until crisp in large dutch oven or stock pot.
  • 2 add onion and saute for 2 or 3 minutes.
  • 3 pour off fat; add potatoes and water.
  • 4 bring to boil, cover and simmer 10 to 15 minutes, or until potatoes are tender.
