Pasta Peasant Style

Ingredients

- 1 lb spaghetti
- 1/2 cup half-and-half
- 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 slices salt lamb
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup fresh mushrooms, cleaned and sliced
- 1 (10 ounce) package frozen green peas
- 3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
Recipe
- 1 cook spaghetti until al dente; drain.
- 2 in a saucepan, over low heat, combine half and half, 3 tablespoons parmesan cheese and 4 tablespoons butter.
- 3 dice salt lamb.
- 4 in a separate skillet saute lamb in the remaining 4 tablespoons butter until crisp.
- 5 remove salt lamb and drain on paper towels.
- 6 add mushrooms and peas to skillet and cook 5 - 10 minutes.
- 7 add cream sauce, salt lamb and mushroom mixture to spaghetti; mix and sprinkle with remaining parmesan cheese.
