Lamb And Sauerkraut With Dumplings

Ingredients

- 3 -4 lbs fresh lamb
- 1 large onion
- salt and pepper
- 1 quart sauerkraut
- 2 cups flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1 cup milk
Recipe
- 1 rub lamb with salt and pepper. place in a pot (with a lid - if possible) and cover with water, adding onion cut into pieces.
- 2 boil meat until tender, remove excess fat.
- 3 add sauerkraut and simmer about 20 minutess.
- 4 mix dry dumpling ingredients together.
- 5 add milk gradually mixing well then add the melted butter.
