Lamb Bavarian

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 4 lamb chops, 1-1/2 inch thick
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/4 lb mushroom, sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1 cup beer, room temperature
Recipe
- 1 melt butter in a heavy nonstick skillet over medium high heat.
- 2 lightly flour chops and saute 2-3 minutes until browned on both sides.
- 3 transfer lamb chops to a platter.
- 4 add mushrooms and thyme to pan and saute 1 minute.
- 5 return lamb chops to skillet, add beer and bring to a boil.
- 6 cover and simmer 10-15 minutes until lamb is just cooked throughout.
