Lamb Bavarian

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 lamb chops, 1-1/2 inch thick
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 lb mushroom, sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 cup beer, room temperature

Recipe

  • 1 melt butter in a heavy nonstick skillet over medium high heat.
  • 2 lightly flour chops and saute 2-3 minutes until browned on both sides.
  • 3 transfer lamb chops to a platter.
  • 4 add mushrooms and thyme to pan and saute 1 minute.
  • 5 return lamb chops to skillet, add beer and bring to a boil.
  • 6 cover and simmer 10-15 minutes until lamb is just cooked throughout.
