Ribs And Kraut

Ingredients
- 2 lbs baby back ribs
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil (or whatever you use to cook with)
- 4 lbs red potatoes, halved
- 3/4 cup onion, chopped
- 1 (32 ounce) can sauerkraut
- salt and pepper
- 1 cup water
Recipe
- 1 put oil in a large oven proof pot (i use cast iron).
- 2 brown ribs in the bottom of the heated pot.
- 3 remove ribs from pot.
- 4 cook onion in pot just until they start to turn brown.
- 5 add the potato halves.
- 6 put ribs in pot over onions and potatoes.
- 7 pour sourkraut in pot on top of onions, ribs and potatoes.
- 8 pour water over kraut.
- 9 put lid on pot and put in oven at 350 degrees for 3 hours.
- 10 remove and enjoy!
