Pan-fried Lamb Chops With Onions

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 (6 ounce) lamb chops
  • 2 teaspoons creole seasoning
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3 medium onions, sliced
  • 1/2 cup water

Recipe

  • 1 sprinkle lamb chops with creole seasoning.
  • 2 dredge lamb chops in flour, shaking off excess.
  • 3 cook lamb chops in hot vegetable oil in a large skillet over med-high heat 1-2 minutes on each side or until golden brown.
  • 4 remove from skillet and keep warm.
  • 5 add in onions and water, stirring to loosen particles from the bottom of the skillet; saute 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  • 6 return lamb chops to skillet; lower heat to low; cover and simmer 5 minutes.
