Portuguese/spanish One Pot

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 (6 3/4 ounce) box spanish rice and vermicelli mix
  • 1 linguica sausage
  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes with garlic
  • 1 (2 1/4 ounce) can of sliced black olives
  • 1 -2 garlic clove
  • 1/2-1 tablespoon oil

Recipe

  • 1 begin making spanish rice according to directions.
  • 2 slice clove(s) of garlic.
  • 3 heat oil in small frying pan.
  • 4 slice linguica sausage into half moons.
  • 5 place garlic in frying pan, and cook until slightly toasted.
  • 6 place linguica in pan and fry until browned.
  • 7 drain the cans of tomatoes and olives.
  • 8 when spanish rice is done, add the tomatoes, olives, and sausage.
  • 9 this is good served with fresh bread.
