Portuguese/spanish One Pot

Ingredients

- 1 (6 3/4 ounce) box spanish rice and vermicelli mix
- 1 linguica sausage
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes with garlic
- 1 (2 1/4 ounce) can of sliced black olives
- 1 -2 garlic clove
- 1/2-1 tablespoon oil
Recipe
- 1 begin making spanish rice according to directions.
- 2 slice clove(s) of garlic.
- 3 heat oil in small frying pan.
- 4 slice linguica sausage into half moons.
- 5 place garlic in frying pan, and cook until slightly toasted.
- 6 place linguica in pan and fry until browned.
- 7 drain the cans of tomatoes and olives.
- 8 when spanish rice is done, add the tomatoes, olives, and sausage.
- 9 this is good served with fresh bread.
