Roast Lamb

Total Time: 2 hrs 5 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 2 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 5
  • 4 lbs lamb loin roast
  • 2 garlic cloves, slivered
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 4 bay leaves
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 325 degrees. pierce the roast in several places and shove the garlic slivers inches sprinkle liberally with salt and pepper. place the bay leaves in the bottom of the roasting pan. place the roast on tip, fat side up. combine vinegar and thyme, and pour evenly over the roast. place in oven, allowing 35 minutes baking time per pound of roast. baste occasionally.
