Saute Lamb With Ginger

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 3/4 lb lamb shoulder butt, thinly sliced 2-inch pieces
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sake
  • 2 teaspoons fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil

Recipe

  • 1 combine all ingredients except lamb to make sauce.
  • 2 steep lamb in sauce for 10 minutes. do not oversteep or the lamb will become tough.
  • 3 heat oil in skillet and saute lamb (spreading out the slices) over high heat till slightly brown; then turn and saute at medium heat.
  • 4 add remaining sauce and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  • 5 serve with fresh lettuce and tomato and rice.
