Sauce For Bbq Lamb Cutlets

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, crushed
  • 100 g tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon malt vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 1 tablespoon cornflour

Recipe

  • 1 melt butter in a saucepan and saute onion and garlic until soft.
  • 2 add tomato paste, worcestershire, vinegar, rosemary, pepper and sugar.
  • 3 bring to boil over medium heat stirring often.
  • 4 mix chicken stock and cornflour then add to saucepan.
  • 5 simmer for around 15 minutes until sauce has thickened.
  • 6 remove from heat and allow to sit 5-10 minutes before serving over top of lamb.
