Simple Red Beans And Rice

Ingredients

- 1 lb kielbasa, cut into 1/4 inch slices
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, pressed
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 2 (15 1/2 ounce) cans red beans, drained
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- salt and pepper
- 3 cups brown rice, cooked
Recipe
- 1 in a skillet cook sliced sausage for about 2 minutes.
- 2 add onion, garlic, and bell pepper, and saute till veggies are tender.
- 3 add beans and tomatoes with thier juice.
- 4 season with thyme, caynne, and salt and pepper to taste.
