Seashells' Crock Pot Bbq Ribs!

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 3 1/2 lbs lamb back ribs or 3 1/2 lbs beef ribs
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 -3 tablespoons liquid smoke
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1/2 cup cola
- 1 1/2 cups barbecue sauce, your favorite
Recipe
- 1 spray inside of 4 to 5 quart slow cooker with cooking spray.
- 2 remove inner skin from ribs.
- 3 mix brown sugar, salt, pepper, liquid smoke and garlic.
- 4 rub mixture into ribs.
- 5 cut ribs into 4 inch pieces.
- 6 layer ribs and onion in crock pot.
- 7 pour cola over ribs.
- 8 cover and cook on low heat setting 8 to 9 hours or until tender.
- 9 remove ribs from pot.
- 10 drain and discard liquid.
- 11 pour bbq sauce into shallow bowl.
- 12 dip ribs into sauce.
- 13 place ribs in crock pot
- 14 pour any remaining sauce over ribs.
- 15 cover and cook on low heat setting one more hour.
