Sausage Ball Appetizers

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 11 ounces red cinnamon candies
- 1 lb sausage, cooked/drained/crumbled
- 6 -8 slices bread
- 1 pint applesauce
- 1/2 teaspoon sage
Recipe
- 1 toast bread and crumble finely.
- 2 combine crumbs with sausage and sage.
- 3 form into balls about the size of golfballs.
- 4 bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
- 5 drain and set aside.
- 6 in saucepan, heat applesauce and red hots until candy is melted completely.
- 7 add sauce to sausage balls and keep warm in a fondue pot or crockpot.
- 8 serve with toothpicks.
