Sausage Crescent Breakfast Casserole

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 1 lb sausage
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 2 (8 ounce) cans refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • sesame seeds (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 crumble sausage into a skillet and brown, then drain grease off.
  • 2 mix sausage, eggs and cheese together in a medium sized bowl.
  • 3 unfold one package of rolls and place in bottom of 9" x 13" baking dish.
  • 4 spread sausage, egg and cheese mixture over crescent crust.
  • 5 top with second package of crescent rolls, tucking down sides and ends.
  • 6 if desired, sprinkle top with sesame seeds.
  • 7 bake in preheated 350 degree (fahrenheit) oven 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  • 8 this recipe can be prepared for the oven the night before and baked in the morning.
