Sausage And Sauerkraut

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 lbs smoked sausage (or 1 lb sausage, franks, or any sausage and 1 lb lamb chops or ribs)
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
  • 1 cup applesauce
  • 1 -2 tablespoon flour
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon caraway seed

Recipe

  • 1 rinse and drain kraut.
  • 2 combine with applesauce, flour, onion, and caraway.
  • 3 layer sausage or lamb with kraut mixture.
  • 4 bake in tightly covered casserole at 325 degrees fahrenheit for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
