Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 2 lbs smoked sausage (or 1 lb sausage, franks, or any sausage and 1 lb lamb chops or ribs)
- 2 (15 ounce) cans sauerkraut, rinsed and drained
- 1 cup applesauce
- 1 -2 tablespoon flour
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon caraway seed
Recipe
- 1 rinse and drain kraut.
- 2 combine with applesauce, flour, onion, and caraway.
- 3 layer sausage or lamb with kraut mixture.
- 4 bake in tightly covered casserole at 325 degrees fahrenheit for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
