Sausage Quiche

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1/2 lb roll of lamb sausage
  • 1 medium onion, chopped (optional)
  • 1 unbaked prepared 9 inch pie shell
  • 1/2 cup shredded swiss cheese
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup half-and-half
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 425°f
  • 2 cook and crumble sausage and onion until sausage is browned.
  • 3 cover bottom of pie crust with mixture and top with cheese.
  • 4 in medium mixing bowl. beat eggs and add half and half, salt and pepper.
  • 5 pour over sausage mixture.
  • 6 bake 15 minutes. reduce oven to 350 f and continue cooking for 20 minutes or until set. let stand 5 minutes then cut into wedges.
