Sausage Quiche

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 1/2 lb roll of lamb sausage
- 1 medium onion, chopped (optional)
- 1 unbaked prepared 9 inch pie shell
- 1/2 cup shredded swiss cheese
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup half-and-half
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 425°f
- 2 cook and crumble sausage and onion until sausage is browned.
- 3 cover bottom of pie crust with mixture and top with cheese.
- 4 in medium mixing bowl. beat eggs and add half and half, salt and pepper.
- 5 pour over sausage mixture.
- 6 bake 15 minutes. reduce oven to 350 f and continue cooking for 20 minutes or until set. let stand 5 minutes then cut into wedges.
