Lamb Chops With Sour Cream Sauce

Ingredients

  • Servings: 2
  • 2 lamb chops
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon caraway seed, crushed
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon dill weed, crushed
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon parsley
  • 1/3 cup sour cream

Recipe

  • 1 brown lamb chops on both sides; drain oil.
  • 2 add onion, water, caraway seed, paprika, salt, dillweed and garlic powder.
  • 3 cover, reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour, adding more water if necessary.
  • 4 remove lamb chops from skillet; keep warm.
  • 5 stir sour cream into skillet, mixing with pan juices to make a sauce. pour over chops and serve.
