Pigs-n-blankets

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 3
  • 1 lb lamb sausage (bulk or roll)
  • 8 ounces phyllo dough
  • 3 tablespoons butter

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2 divide sausage into 6 portions. roll each into a link looking stick.
  • 3 cut filo into 3 parts then allow to thaw before unwrapping.
  • 4 cook the sausage in a skillet until brown and cooked throughly.
  • 5 take half the filo from one portion and wrap around sausage. repeat for each stick.
  • 6 melt butter in microwave safe bowl or skillet.
  • 7 dip each stick and roll around to absorb the butter then place in cake pan or cookie sheet.
  • 8 bake 25 minutes.
  • 9 serve with syrup or applesauce.
