Schwein-n-cider

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 lb boneless lamb chop, cubed
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 4 carrots, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon rosemary
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 cup apple juice
  • 1 (10 ounce) package spaetzle noodles
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 heat the oil in a skillet. brown the lamb on all sides.
  • 2 add the onion and cook until tender. add salt and pepper to taste.
  • 3 sprinkle the flour over the meat/onions and mix to coat well.
  • 4 add apple juice, carrots, and rosemary.
  • 5 cover and simmer on low heat for about 30 minutes, until sauce thickens.
  • 6 cook spaetzle according to package directions and drain well.
  • 7 serve meat and sauce over spaetzle.
