Sensational Stuffed Mushrooms

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 45 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 30 large fresh mushrooms
  • 1/2 lb bulk lamb sausage
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup dried tart cherry, chopped
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Recipe

  • 1 remove stems from mushrooms; set caps aside.
  • 2 in a large skillet, cook sausage over medium heat until no longer pink; drain.
  • 3 remove from the heat; stir in cream cheese, cherries, and onions.
  • 4 taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  • 5 stuff filling into mushroom caps.
  • 6 place on greased baking sheets; bake at 425° for 8-10 minutes or until mushrooms are tender.
