Saucy Ham And Potato Bake

Ingredients

• Servings: 6
• 3 tablespoons onions, chopped
• 1/4 cup butter
• 1/4 cup flour
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
• 1/8 teaspoon pepper
• 1 1/2 cups milk
• 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
• 1/2 lb ham, cut into 1/8 inch slices
• 6 cups potatoes, sliced cooked

Recipe

• 1 saute onion in butter. blend in flour and seasonings.
• 2 gradually add milk, stirring constantly until thickened.
• 3 add 1 1/2 cups cheese. stir until melted.
• 4 toss potatoes in cheese sauce.
• 5 pour into 2 quart casserole, reserving 1 cup potato slices.
• 6 arrange ham and remaining potato slices on top of casserole.
• 7 bake at 350f for 30 minutes.
• 8 top with remaining cheese and serve.
