Polly's Broccoli-cauliflower Salad

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 1 head cauliflower
- 2 -3 heads broccoli
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 3/4 cup sugar
- salt (to taste)
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
- 1/2-1 lb bacon, fried
- 1/2 onion
Recipe
- 1 in a large bowl, break up cauliflower, broccoli and bacon into pieces.
- 2 cut onion into slices, separate into rings and add to bowl.
- 3 mix up all other ingredients to make dressing: oil, vinegar, mustard, and mayonnaise and salt.
- 4 pour dressing over contents in bowl, stir a few times.
- 5 cover and let set overnight in fridge to let flavors combine.
- 6 enjoy!
