Polly's Broccoli-cauliflower Salad

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 head cauliflower
  • 2 -3 heads broccoli
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • salt (to taste)
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1/2-1 lb bacon, fried
  • 1/2 onion

Recipe

  • 1 in a large bowl, break up cauliflower, broccoli and bacon into pieces.
  • 2 cut onion into slices, separate into rings and add to bowl.
  • 3 mix up all other ingredients to make dressing: oil, vinegar, mustard, and mayonnaise and salt.
  • 4 pour dressing over contents in bowl, stir a few times.
  • 5 cover and let set overnight in fridge to let flavors combine.
  • 6 enjoy!
