Scalloped Corn And Sausage Casserole

Ingredients

- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup bell pepper, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon onion, minced
- 1/2 cup milk
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 21 ounces creamed corn
- 1/2 cup cracker crumb
- 1 lb lamb sausage
Recipe
- 1 melt butter; saute green pepper and onion.
- 2 add milk, salt and pepper, and number 2 can of creamed corn.
- 3 add cracker crumbs.
- 4 pour into a greased 1 quart casserole.
- 5 shape lamb sausage into 6 patties.
- 6 brown in a heavy skillet; discard fat.
- 7 place patties on top of corn mixture.
- 8 bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees fahrenheit.
