Lamb Loin Chops With Cinnamon Apples

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 teaspoon dried rubbed sage
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 4 (4 ounce) boneless center cut lamb chops (1/2-inch thick)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon butter
  • 4 cups sliced peeled granny smith apples
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • salt (dash)

Recipe

  • 1 in a small bowl, combine the first 3 ingredients; sprinkle over lamb.
  • 2 heat oil in a large nonstick skillet coated wtih cooking spray over medium heat.
  • 3 add in lamb chops; cook 3 minutes on each side or until done.
  • 4 remove lamb from pan; cover and keep warm.
  • 5 melt butter in skillet over medium heat; add apple slices and remaining ingredients; cook 5 minutes, or until tender, stirring often.
  • 6 serve apple mixture with lamb.
