Ingredients
- 2 lbs lamb (i assume they mean "ground lamb")
- 1 pint breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- salt, pepper & sage (to taste?)
Recipe
- 1 soak the bread crumbs in the milk.
- 2 add seasonings & eggs (unbeaten).
- 3 form into a loaf with the hands & bake in a moderate (350°) oven for 2 hours.
- 4 apples or potatoes are very nice cooked around the lamb.
