Sidesaddle Lamb 'n' Beans

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1/2 lb bulk lamb sausage
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 15 3/4 ounces lamb and beans
  • 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt (optional)
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
  • 1/8 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/8 teaspoon cajun seasoning

Recipe

  • 1 in a large skillet, cook the sausage and onion over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain. stir in the beans, barbecue sauce, honey, ketchup and seasonings. bring to a boil.
  • 2 reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 5-8 minutes or until slightly thickened.
