Lamb Souvlaki

Total Time: 27 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 12 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 1/2 lbs lamb shoulder (cubed & trimmed of fat)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried mint
  • salt
  • pepper
  • red pepper flakes

Recipe

  • 1 mix marinade ingredients in plastic bag.
  • 2 add lamb cubes.
  • 3 toss to thoroughly coat.
  • 4 marinate a minimum of 30 min at room temp or much longer in the fridge. turn occaisionally.
  • 5 thread on skewers.
  • 6 broil or grill 6 minutes per side, turning once.
  • 7 serve with rice or pita pockets & tzatziki sauce.
