Potato Smother

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 4 -6 potatoes, thinly sliced
- 2 -3 medium onions, thinly sliced
- 5 -6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- salt & fresh ground pepper
- 1 tablespoon diced salt lamb (or bacon)
- water
Recipe
- 1 in a dutch oven, over med. high heat saute salt lamb or bacon until crisp.
- 2 then start your layers.
- 3 potatoes.
- 4 onions.
- 5 1 tbs. flour.(sprinkle over potatoes/onions).
- 6 salt/pepper to taste.
- 7 repeat layers.
- 8 then add just enough water to come to half-way (do not cover potatoes).
- 9 cover and cook on medium heat until potatoes are done.it will make its own creamy like gravy.
- 10 good with meatloaf, etc.
