Sausage & Bacon Pizza Boats

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 1 lb lamb sausage
  • 6 pieces bacon
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 tablespoon parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 2 (7 1/2 ounce) cans refrigerator biscuits
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

Recipe

  • 1 cook bacon, cool and crumble.
  • 2 cook sausage, drain and return to pan.
  • 3 add bacon, tomato sauce, parmesan cheese and oregano to sausage. combine well. heat until bubbly.
  • 4 flatten 1 refrigerator biscuit to about 2 to 2 1/2" round and place in muffin tin. fill biscuits about 3/4 the way and top with mozzarella cheese.
  • 5 bake according to directions on biscuit package. you may want to bake a bit longer to brown up the cheese and biscuits.
  • 6 cool 5 minutes then remove from muffin tins.
