Sausage & Bacon Pizza Boats

Ingredients
- Servings: 12
- 1 lb lamb sausage
- 6 pieces bacon
- 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 tablespoon parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 2 (7 1/2 ounce) cans refrigerator biscuits
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
Recipe
- 1 cook bacon, cool and crumble.
- 2 cook sausage, drain and return to pan.
- 3 add bacon, tomato sauce, parmesan cheese and oregano to sausage. combine well. heat until bubbly.
- 4 flatten 1 refrigerator biscuit to about 2 to 2 1/2" round and place in muffin tin. fill biscuits about 3/4 the way and top with mozzarella cheese.
- 5 bake according to directions on biscuit package. you may want to bake a bit longer to brown up the cheese and biscuits.
- 6 cool 5 minutes then remove from muffin tins.
