Polynesian Lamb Chops

Total Time: 2 hrs 20 mins Preparation Time: 2 hrs Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon gingerroot, grated
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 8 boneless lamb chops, about 1/2 inch thick

Recipe

  • 1 in a resealable food storage plastic bag mix all ingredients except lamb chops.
  • 2 add lamb and seal bag.
  • 3 turn to coat.
  • 4 refrigerate 1 to 2 hours to marinate, turning bag once.
  • 5 when ready to cook lamb, heat grill.
  • 6 when grill is ready, place lamb on grill.
  • 7 cover grill and cook 15 to 20 minutes, turning occasionally and brushing with marinade, until lamb is no longer pink in center.
  • 8 discard any remaining marinade.
