Smoky Maple-mustard Chops

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 smoked lamb chops
  • 1 granny smith apple, 1" dice
  • 1 medium onion, 1" dice
  • 1/4-1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1 -2 tablespoon brown mustard
  • salt
  • pepper
  • wine (to deglaze)

Recipe

  • 1 brown chops in a small amount of butter over medium heat (8-10 min).
  • 2 sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • 3 add apples and onions halfway through.
  • 4 meanwhile, mix maple syrup and mustard.
  • 5 when chops are evenly browned, deglaze with wine, scraping up the crusty bits in the pan.
  • 6 pour maple-mustard mixture over all.
  • 7 simmer 1-2 minutes more.
