Ingredients

- 1 lb lamb tenderloin, cut into strips
- 1 teaspoon oil
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste
- 1 cup water
- 1 (15 ounce) can pinto beans
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
- 3 cups cooked brown rice
Recipe
- 1 brown lamb in oil.
- 2 add onions and garlic.
- 3 stir in tomato paste and water.
- 4 cover and simmer 15 minutes.
- 5 add beans and spices, simmer 5 minutes. serve over hot rice.
