Smoked Lamb Chops With Apples

- 6 smoked lamb chops, loin, cut 3/4 " thick
- 1 cup apple cider
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 2 medium red baking apples
Recipe
- 1 in skillet over high heat, heat chops, cider, syrup, and vinegar till boiling. reduce heat to medium, cover and cook 15 minutes, turning chops once.
- 2 meanwhile, cut apples into wedges. remove lamb chops to platter. add apple wedges to liquid in skillet. heat to boiling and cook until apples are fork-tender and liquid is thick and syrupy, about 10 minutes.
- 3 return lamb to skillet; heat through, turning chops once to coat with glaze.
