Ingredients

- 1 lb great northern bean
- 4 -6 lean lamb chops
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 small onion, chopped fine
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon molasses
Recipe
- 1 wash beans and cover with 6 cups of water; bring to a boil and boil for 3 minutes.
- 2 cover, let stand for 1 hour.
- 3 drain and throw away soak water.
- 4 cover beans with fresh water and boil gently until tender.
- 5 drain.
- 6 brown lamb chops lightly, sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
- 7 combine beans, mustard, brown sugar, ketchup, onion, tomato sauce and molasses and pour into a casserole.
- 8 if necessary, add more liquid such as ketchup.
- 9 place lamb chops on top and bake in a 350 degree oven for 1& 1/2 hours.
