Pressure Cooker Boston Butt

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 lbs boston butt
  • 2 teaspoons paula deens' house seasoning (paula deen's house seasoning mix)
  • 1 teaspoon seasoning salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 1/4 cups water
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 combine house seasoning, seasoned salt, paprika and soy.
  • 2 rub paste over roast.
  • 3 place in a ziplock bag and refrigerate 24 hours.
  • 4 place sliced onions in pressure cooker.
  • 5 add water and bouillon cube.
  • 6 place roast on top.
  • 7 pressure cook on high for 40 minutes.
  • 8 quick release.
  • 9 remove roast from pot.
  • 10 salt and pepper and thicken gravy if desired.
