Lamb Chops Creole Style

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 4 boneless lamb chops
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic

Recipe

  • 1 in a small bowl, combine the first six ingredients; rub over both sides of lamb.
  • 2 in a large skillet, brown lamb chops in oil over medium heat.
  • 3 add the remaining ingredients.
  • 4 cover and cook 15-20 minutes longer, or until meat is tender.
