Lamb Chops Creole Style

Ingredients

- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 4 boneless lamb chops
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped green pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped celery
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
Recipe
- 1 in a small bowl, combine the first six ingredients; rub over both sides of lamb.
- 2 in a large skillet, brown lamb chops in oil over medium heat.
- 3 add the remaining ingredients.
- 4 cover and cook 15-20 minutes longer, or until meat is tender.
