Lamb Chops In Onion 'n Garlic Gravy

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 6 lamb chops, 3/4 inch thick
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can chicken broth
  • 1 dash gravy browning sauce

Recipe

  • 1 lightly salt and pepper chops.
  • 2 brown lamb chops in olive oil.
  • 3 add onions and garlic and saute until soft, being careful not to burn.
  • 4 add water and bring to a boil.
  • 5 whisk together flour, chicken broth and browning sauce.
  • 6 add to skillet, stirring well.
  • 7 cover and cook over low heat 30 to 45 minutes or until tender.
  • 8 taste gravy and add additional salt and pepper, if necessary.
