Rib Hot Pot!!!

Total Time: 3 hrs Preparation Time: 1 hr Cook Time: 2 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 2 kg ribs
  • 4 spring onions (sliced)
  • 1/2 green pepper
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chutney
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 3 cloves
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 ml salt
  • 5 ml black pepper
  • 250 ml fresh cream
  • 2 large potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Recipe

  • 1 -place ribs in water and boil 1 hour(makes quicker tender).
  • 2 -when ribs cooled shred removing all access fat and skin just use meat.
  • 3 -heat oil in pan,add spring onions and green pepper and brown,add water if neccessary.
  • 4 -add sweet chilli,chutney,sugar,bay leaves,cloves,salt,and pepper.
  • 5 -cook for 3 minutes.
  • 6 -add ribs and cook for 30 minutes.
  • 7 -add rest of water.
  • 8 -preheat oven to 180 degrees c.
  • 9 -add rib mixture to oven dish.
  • 10 -peel patatoes and slice thin.
  • 11 -place patatoes over rib mixture add tiny pieces of butter sprinkle salt and black pepper.
  • 12 -place in oven for 1-30 to 2 hours.
  • 13 -now enjoy and be happy ;0).
