Lamb Chop Skillet

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 center-cut lamb chops (3/4 inch thick)
  • 2 cups thinly sliced onions
  • 1 (16 ounce) bag sauerkraut, rinsed
  • 1 (12 ounce) jar lamb gravy (or your favorite type)

Recipe

  • 1 in a large nonstick skillet, brown chops for 2 minutes per side.
  • 2 remove lamb and put in onions.
  • 3 cook 5 minutes until lightly browned.
  • 4 add sauerkraut and gravy.
  • 5 cover and reduce heat to med-low and simmer for 8 minutes.
  • 6 stir and top with lamb chops, cover and simmer for 5 minutes, or until no longer pink nesr the bone.
  • 7 for something different, add 1 chopped apple with the lamb chops.
