Lamb Chops In Apple Cream Sauce

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 4 lamb loin chops
- 2 medium red cooking apples, peeled and quartered
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1/2 cup apple juice
- 1/2 teaspoon instant chicken bouillon granules
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- salt and pepper
Recipe
- 1 brown lamb chops in oil over medium high heat, remove.
- 2 add apples and onions, saute until apple is tender, remove apple and reserve.
- 3 add apple juice, bouillon granules, thyme and lamb chops, bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 minutes.
- 4 add apple and simmer until heated through.
- 5 remove apple and chops to a serving platter.
- 6 add cream, bring to a boil and cook until sauce is slightly reduced.
- 7 season to taste and pour over chops.
