Lamb Chops In Brew

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 6 lamb chops, 3/4 inch thick
- 2 medium onions, sliced
- 1 teaspoon instant chicken bouillon granules
- 12 ounces beer (1 1/2 cups)
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed thyme leaves
- 1/3 cup cold water
- 3 tablespoons flour
- salt and pepper
Recipe
- 1 salt and pepper lamb chops; sear over high heat until browned.
- 2 place chops in crockpot; lay sliced onions over lamb chops.
- 3 dissolve chicken bouillon in beer; stir in thyme leaves; pour over lamb chops.
- 4 cover and cook on low heat setting for 8-10 hours.
- 5 for gravy: skim fat from cooking liquid; place cooking liquid in a saucepan.
- 6 in a jar or gravy shaker, combine cold water with flour.
- 7 whisk into cooking liquid, stirring constantly until it comes to a boil; boil 1-2 minutes.
- 8 serve over rice, noodles, or mashed potatoes.
