Ingredients

- 4 lamb chops (1 inch thick)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 medium onions, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup beer (any brand)
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
Recipe
- 1 sprinkle lamb chops with salt and pepper, coat with flour. shake off excess. cook lamb shops in hot oil in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat 3 minutes on each side. add sliced onion and cook 5 minutes turning chops once.
- 2 add beer and beef broth cover and reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes or until chops reach desired doneness.
- 3 remove lamb chops reserving onion mixture in skillet. keep warm.
- 4 stir together cornstarch and water until thoroughly blended. stir into onion mixture cook over medium high heat. stirring constantly 3 minutes or until gravy is thickened and bubbly. spoon over lamb chops and serve immediately.
