Lamb Chop Dinner

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 4 lamb chops
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 4 -6 potatoes, quartered
- 4 large carrots, cut into 1 inch thick slices
- 1/4 cup onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup celery, chopped
- 1 chicken stock cube
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 cup water
Recipe
- 1 saute lamb chops in hot oil for 15 minutes in skillet, turning once; drain.
- 2 top chops with vegetables.
- 3 dissolve bouillion cube in boiling water; pour over vegtables and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- 4 reduce heat to simmer; cover and cook 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
- 5 remove meat and vegetables to serving platter, reserving drippings in skillet.
- 6 combine flour and 1 cup water, mixing until smooth.
- 7 gradually add mixture to drippings; cook over medium heat until thickened and bubbly, stirring constantly.
- 8 serve sauce with meat and vegetables.
