Lamb Chops Aloha

Ingredients

- 6 lean lamb chops
- salt, to taste
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
- 2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
- 1/3 cup vinegar
- 1 (19 ounce) can drained crushed pineapple
- 1/4 cup chopped celery
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
Recipe
- 1 sprinkle chops with salt.
- 2 brown chops in heavy skillet in the cooking oil.
- 3 mix all other ingredients in a bowl.
- 4 pour over the browned chops.
- 5 cover with a lid.
- 6 cook over low heat until chops are tender, about 45 minutes.
