Lamb Chops Aloha

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 6 lean lamb chops
  • salt, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped green pepper
  • 2 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce
  • 1/3 cup vinegar
  • 1 (19 ounce) can drained crushed pineapple
  • 1/4 cup chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Recipe

  • 1 sprinkle chops with salt.
  • 2 brown chops in heavy skillet in the cooking oil.
  • 3 mix all other ingredients in a bowl.
  • 4 pour over the browned chops.
  • 5 cover with a lid.
  • 6 cook over low heat until chops are tender, about 45 minutes.
