Ingredients

- 5 lbs potatoes, peeled and sliced thin
- 6 tablespoons butter or 6 tablespoons margarine
- 6 tablespoons flour
- salt and pepper
- 3 cups milk
- 4 -6 boneless center cut lamb chops or 4 -6 boneless lamb chops
Recipe
- 1 melt butter in a 2 qt sauce pan over medium heat whisk in flour and stir until smooth.
- 2 season with salt and pepper and cook for 1 minute.
- 3 gradually add milk, stir constantly until mixture boils.
- 4 boil for 1 minute.
- 5 pour mixture over potatoes, mix well, ensuring all potatoes are coated.
- 6 spray a 4 qt casserole dish with non-stick spray.
- 7 place a layer of potatoes in bottom of dish.
- 8 top with 2-3 lamb chops cover with another layer of potatoes.
- 9 top with 2-3 lamb chops.
- 10 cover with a layer of potatoes bake covered at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
- 11 remove cover and bake for 1-1/2 to 2 hours or until potatoes are fork tender.
